This notice explains how Veona handles personal and health data on behalf of the facilities that use it. Patient data is processed under the instruction of each facility, which is the data controller.

Data we process

Patient demographics, clinical records, orders and results, billing and insurance data, and operational data needed to run the facility.

Where data lives

Patient data is hosted in your country or region to satisfy data-residency requirements. We do not move it out of region without instruction.

Your rights

Patients may exercise access, correction, and erasure rights through the facility. We provide tooling to support these requests.

Security

• Encryption at rest and in transit
• Role-based access and least privilege
• Full audit trails on every record
• Targeting ISO 27001 and SOC 2
